A range of DEI workshops is available to groups to attend in-person or virtually. Each one is led by trained DEI experts to help your organization embrace and deepen a diverse, equal and inclusive culture.

DEI 101

With so much emphasis being placed on diversity, equity and inclusion it can often be confusing to understand what all the different terms and definitions are and why they are important. DEI principles apply to every organization and geographic area regardless of demographic make-up. In this workshop you will learn:

  • The relationship between diversity, equity and inclusion

  • Why organizations and communities need to focus on DEI

  • How to integrate DEI into programs and services

  • Tools and resources to help you learn more about DEI and assess where your organization/community is on the DEI journey

Unconscious or Implicit Bias Training

Everyone has unconscious biases. They are a natural part of who we are. The challenge is to identify those biases so we can elevate our cultural intelligence to make fair decisions. In this workshop you will enhance your cultural intelligence by learning:

  • Understand why bias matters
  • Recognize different sources of unconscious bias
  • How to identify bias in your organization and/or community

Use Cultural intelligence to Succeed in a Globalized, Multi-Cultural World

You are probably aware of IQ and EQ but have you heard of CQ® or Cultural Intelligence? Cultural Intelligence is the ability to relate and work effectively in culturally diverse situations. Research shows that diverse teams outperform homogeneous teams when cultural intelligence is high. But when cultural intelligence is low, diverse teams experience lower levels of productivity and effectiveness. This workshop focuses on how to assess and improve your effectiveness in working with diverse teams or situations. In this workshop you will enhance your cultural intelligence by learning:
