Project Management
In these days of staff reductions, Omni Tech can supply experienced Associates
to act as your in-house representative in managing plant modifications,
expansions or de-commissioning. With years of experience managing safety,
cost and construction schedules in operating facilities, Omni Tech can
provide Associates for one-of-a-kind projects of any size. Expert Process
Engineering capability can also be provided by Omni Tech on a short term
basis.
Process Simulations
Existing or new processes can be improved and/or debottle
necked by Omni Tech Associates using their capability to develop state
of the art computer simulations. Quick evaluation of proposed modifications
and additions can be inexpensively achieved by experienced process engineers.
Omni Tech's Associates have used these simulations to size equipment and
estimate the cost of bench, pilot and commercial plant processes.
Facilitate HAZOP Reviews
Omni Tech has experienced engineers whocan conduct
your hazardous operation reviews (HAZOP), as required by law, for modifications
and additions to your operations. Our Facilators use computer programs
to ask the proper questions at each step of the review and properly document
the answers. As an outside expert, they add credibility and additional
insight while keeping the review team focused. This usually results in
a faster review at a lower cost.
Expert Witnesses
Experts in most phases of the operations of the process industries are
available to meet your specific consulting, trial preparation, and expert
needs (see Litigation Support).
Waste Minimization and Utilization
The reduction or elimination of waste along with recovery
and recycle of raw materials and products can improve yields and reduce
operating and disposal cost. Omni Tech's Associates bring years of proven
expertise in designing and developing unique methods for accomplishing
these objectives.
Raw Material/Product Recovery/Recycle
Valuable raw materials and products can be recovered
from process and storage tank vents and other waste streams. Conventional
recovery methods may be inefficient and/or expensive to operate and maintain.
Omni Tech Associates have designed and developed state of the art methods
to recover these valuable materials from vents, flare lines, feed gas
systems and waste streams. Many of these projects resulted in the reduction
or elimination of expensive flares and incinerators and other disposal
methods. Omni Tech's Associates will work closely with your operating
and technical people to discover, evaluate and justify these cost reduction
projects. They can then design and specify equipment and modification
necessary to achieve these savings. Project management can also be supplied
for procurement, installation and start-up.
Wastewater/Groundwater Treatment
Omni Tech Associates can design and specify innovative
wastewater and groundwater treatment facilities for new or existing operations.
In many chemical, refinery and oil and gas production operations water
treatment facilities are overloaded and or outdated. Our Associates have
years of experience in designing or improving water treating plants with
low cost innovative solutions.
